I recently came across a tweet from Sugar Land Skeeter, Drew Locke about his former college teammate and friend, Pete Frates who was recently diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Here is a website that Pete's friends and family have set up to educate people about ALS, as well as links to to help raise money to find a cure for this terrible disease.
Pete also has a video blog that he will using as a discussion forum to raise awareness about the disease, as well as fundraising.
We wish Pete and his family all the best in his fight against ALS.
