According to Dave Collins, the "Voice of the Barnstormers," ESPN will be doing a feature on him that will include mentions about Lancaster.
"ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball this week will feature one of the Lancaster Barnstormers from early last season, Jerome Williams, who is making the start of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Yankee Stadium. There will be Lancaster mentions in a feature that ESPN will be doing on him." - post on Dave Collins Facebook page.
Williams had a 6-0 record with a 2.91 ERA with the Barnstormers last season before he had his contact purchased by the Los Angeles Angels. Williams continued to succeed at the Angel's Triple-A affiliate Salt Lake, and was eventually called up to the major leagues. This was a return to major leagues for Williams, who pitched 76 games in the big leagues from 2003 to 2007. In 10 games for the Angels in 2011, Williams posted a 4-0 record with a 3.68 ERA.
